METHOD :
- 1 bunch sarson greens,
- 1 bunch spinach,
- 1 onion grated
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 tsp each ginger & garlic grated
- 3 green chillies,
- 2 tbsp. ghee
- 1 tbsp. maize flour
- Salt To Taste
METHOD :
- Clean and wash sarson AND spinach. Chop the leaves finely.
- Pressure cook the spinach, sarson, with garlic, ginger and chillies. When cool, grind it to smooth paste.
- Add salt, 1 cup water.
- Pressure cook till done. (2 whistles).
- Heat ghee in a pan, add onion, saute till brown,
- Add the ground saag and simmer the flame. Cook for few minutes.
- Add the maize flour, red chilli powder, sugar and stir well.
- Serve hot with paratha or makki ki roti.
